Youth

City Youth is an action packed, faith filled, diverse and very noisy group committed to have lots of fun whilst we get to know God better.

We welcome any young person from school year 7 onwards. We meet regularly in large and smaller groups to share the ups and downs of life together, to read God’s word and learn more about him.

Our regular programme involves outings and trips to local events and attractions, from bowling, to trampolining to games in the park. We also arrange residential trips, to the annual NewDay youth conference as well as other shorter trips.

Unity is one of our key values and we value our involvement with other youth groups across Bermondsey and beyond.

Our prayer and vision is that all young people who are part of City Youth grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus. We believe that the best way to journey with God is with friends by your side, cheering you on and encouraging you. We pray that our young people would make memories to last a life time as they adventure with God together.

R1

Once a month we take part in R1, a youth event including games, worship and chat.

R1 involves many youth from churches and other bodies across the area.

Pit Stop

We have been blessed to receive some pockets of funding for specific projects, including a weekly after-school provision on Wednesday in term time, called Pit Stop. Pit Stop includes sports, opportunities to complete homework, games and workshops.
