Ten Words One Saviour #11 by Chris Nicholson

This week Chris concluded our sermon series. Focusing on the tenth and final commandment: “Do not covet.” Unlike the other commandments that mostly deal with actions, this one is about what’s going on inside our hearts— wanting what other people have. The sermon explained how today’s world, with constant ads, social media, and comparison, makes it really easy for us to feel like we need more to be happy. But instead of chasing what others have, we’re encouraged to develop a thankful heart, trust God to provide what we need, and practice contentment. When we focus on gratitude and prayer rather than comparison, we can avoid envy and live with more peace and joy.
